This is Who I Am
For the last 25 years I’ve worked in Television News. But it hasn’t always been an easy journey.
From the soy bean and corn fields of Iowa to the “City in the Forrest” known as Atlanta … I’ve met some amazing people and had a seat on the front lines of history.
I joined CBS46 in the spring of 2007 to co-host the morning show. We covered everything, news, entertainment, lifestyle trends and fashion. I had a blast doing it. As jobs often do, they morph into something else and so did this one. I moved to evenings after 6 1/2 years on the morning show and I quickly went from Good Morning Sunshine to Hello Night Owl in the fall of 2013.
Before I moved to Atlanta, I spent 3 years in San Diego, working for KFMB. It is a beautiful city… but with only two seasons – sunny and cloudy – I wanted to find a place where I could settle and raise my daughter.
I knew I loved Atlanta… I’d lived here before from 2001 until 2004 working at CNN Headline News. I had the opportunity to cover world news, health and entertainment stories. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work for a news network to reach a national audience.
I hope you have a chance to explore this site and learn a more about the person you see on TV, because I’m more than that. I love to spend time outside, play in the dirt in my backyard. Finding new restaurants and unique events keep my weekends full. Learning about myself and why I’m here, take up the rest of my time.
Because this – is who I am.
